Beeswax

Beeswax is the natural wax honey bees make to build honeycomb. In a lip balm, that origin story becomes practical performance: beeswax is solid at room temperature, softens with warmth, and gives an oil-rich formula enough structure to live in a tube.
Chemically, beeswax is a beautifully complex ingredient. It is a mixture of wax esters, hydrocarbons, free fatty acids, and other minor components. That mix is why it can firm a balm, improve payoff, and leave a light film with a true balm feel.
